INTEGRATING BOPPPS MODEL AND PBL IN TEACHING BIOLOGY AND GENETICS AT TRA VINH UNIVERSITY

In the current context of Vietnamese education, teachers are required to actively innovate teaching methods and approach modern teaching styles to maximize students' abilities. Therefore, integrating the BOPPPS and PBL models in teaching is a solution which has been implemented. Research on integrating BOPPPS and PBL models in teaching contributes to improving the quality of teaching. The article has applied the integration of BOPPPS and PBL models in teaching Biology and Genetics in the General Medicine undergraduate class at Tra Vinh University to evaluate, make statistics and compare the results achieved. The results show that integrating these two models trains students' self-study and problem-solving skills, improving their learning results. The percentage of students with a score of 4-5.4 is very low and the percentage of students with a score >=8.5 is much higher than the control class.
